What is an Eye Wellness Exam?

Considered to be the most complete examination of your eyes, a wellness exam consists of an intensive eye evaluation and a close look at your retina. Our wellness exam will provide a broad and significant image of your eye health.

Using only very advanced, state-of-the-art technology, our results are highly accurate. This allows us to find and correctly treat any eye conditions as early as possible.

With our Wellness Exam, you will benefit from:

  • The Cirrus 500 OCT, which gives a detailed assessment of your retina through Retinal Imaging
  • The Daytona Optomap, which allows us to do a full digital mapping of your eye
  • An assessment of your eye health by Florida’s best optometrists and skilled staff

We will check carefully for conditions such as ocular disease, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, signs of tumors or cancer, high blood pressure and more. The quality of our exam gives more information than any other diagnostic methods.

All of our quality, cutting-edge services will be used to provide a complete health report of your eyes and grant you the top eye care services that you require. At iCare Solutions, we will take care of your long-term vision health.

This is a Wellness Exam.

By getting a full picture of your eye’s health plus an extensive look at your retina, we can detect signs of:

  • Cancer or Tumors
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Macular Degeneration
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic Retinopathy
  • Cataracts

When eye disease like these are caught early on, they can be treated quickly to ensure long term vision health.

  • Macular Degeneration is the most common cause of vision loss today, and it is mostly age-related. A low vision optometrist will provide you with tools and devices that help you optimize your vision and carry out many more tasks than you thought possible.
  • 1 in 4 people with diabetes fail to follow their optometrist's recommendation to have a comprehensive eye exam at least once a year. A wellness exam not only makes it easier to get a comprehensive eye exam, but the quality of the exam will provide greater information than any previous exam.
